Recorded in 432 Hz, “The Day That Broke Winter” is A Clatter and Drone’s debut single.

The band painstakingly honed this tune over the guts of a year to the point of mental exhaustion, often slowed down by the use of old analogue equipment.

A break came in the form of Chris Barry (Junior Brother) who guided the band through the recording process and reassured them when they had their doubts.
